Field Test Kits:

FTC has developed a test kit for field sampling to obtain TSS

and Particle Size Distribution Results from dry samples sent to

the FTC Lab with an easy-to-use portable kit. This reduces or

can eliminate the need to send liquid samples to the lab for analysis.

The use of the FTC test kit and a portable Turbidimeter allow for

on-the-spot comparisons of an existing filter system's effluent and

feed by comparing them against liquid samples drawn from sample

ports of the system being tested.

The samples are forced through the various micron size and filter

material media discs supplied with the kit. Syringes are employed

to draw and force the liquid samples through the media discs.

A calibrated Turbidimeter is employed as the fluid comparison analyzer.
