Chris WallaceFiltration Technology Corporation (FTC) is proud to announce that Vice President of Technology Chris Wallace has been elected to a two-year term on the Board of Directors of the American Filtration & Separation Society (AFS).  The term is set to run from September 2019 to September 2021.

Chris has previously held a variety of positions within AFS, serving on both the Corporate Sponsors Committee (2008-present) and the Executive Committee (2012-16), as a past Board Member (2016-18), as Chairman of the Board (2014-15), and as President of the Southwest Chapter (2010-12).

Since he joined FTC in 2003, Chris has been involved in production engineering, application engineering, research and development, and technical sales of filtration and separation products for liquid/solid, gas/solid, liquid/liquid, and gas/liquid applications.  He holds a B.S. in Biomedical Engineering from Tulane University.

AFS is the leading resource for academic and industry-based professionals in all areas of filtration and separation. It was founded in 1987 as a technical educational nonprofit organization that provides a forum for exchange of information among engineers, scientists, and technologists in all areas of the fluid/particle separation field. Each spring, the Annual Technical Conference & Expo is sponsored to present over 100 papers on a wide-ranging list of subjects and to host an exposition showcasing industry related products and services by 75+ exhibitors.
